What upgrade options are available for my AdrenaLinn?
Any working AdrenaLinn or AdrenaLinn II–regardless of which software it contains–can be upgraded to AdrenaLinn III by installing our $99 AdrenaLinn III Upgrade Kit. If your AdrenaLinn contains an early software version, you can also upgrade it to the final AdrenaLinn release, which fixes a number of bugs that existed in earlier versions. However, the improvement is insignificant compared to upgrading to AdrenaLinn III. To see which software version you have, do the following: There are 2 little computers inside–an MCU (microcontroller) and a DSP (digital signal processor), so you need to check the version of each. To see the MCU software version, connect power while holding the UP ARROW button. The current version is 1.5, shown in the display as “1-5”.
