What university course do I need to do, to become a P.E teacher?

You need to major in: Physical education. That’s done through your college’s department of education or your university’s college of education. You’ll take a full range of education courses, with a set of cognate classes in physical ed., and you’ll earn your state’s provisional teacher license upon graduation. We certainly need good phys. ed. teachers–ones who approach it as a proper academic subject, who see their jobs as guiding all students to knowledge and attitudes that will promote sound physical health. Unfortunately, too many of them really want to be pro athletes but couldn’t make it there so they’re consoling themselves with coaching high school sports.
