What uniform is worn and what costs are involved?
The uniform is that which you see Royal Navy sailors wearing and is issued free of charge except for a deposit of 20 – 10 of which is returned as and when your son or daughter leaves the Sea Cadet Corps. It can be paid in two installments of 10. The 10 retention is to cover dry cleaning costs and refurbishment. We also ask you to purchase boots for your sons and daughters although, on occasion, we do have a limited stock for issue at the same time as the uniform.
