What undergraduate computing courses can an ECDL Advanced (level 3) Expert certificate lead me onto?
Computing degrees have lots of different names and different universities treat them differently. Cambridge, for instance, just has one undergraduate degree called ‘Computer Science’ but within that you can take modules that allow you to specialise in a number of different directions. Other universities ask you to choose between a degree that takes you into programming and design or a degree that takes you into the IT and systems area. Which you choose depends on the kind of brain you were born with. You will need other than an ECDL to get into university to read Computer Science as the ECDL is a vocational rather than an academic qualification.
