Well let’s put it this way… There are no poisonous spiders that live in North America. However, except for a very select few, every spider on this planet is venomous to some degree. Poison is a toxin that is secreted, as in the Poison Arrow Frog that oozes from it’s skin. The toxin is then either ingested either by the mouth or through pores in the skin. Venom is a toxin that is injected directly into the body either with the use of fangs or a stinger. Bees, spiders, scorpions, and snakes are all venomous, not poisonous. Ok, that being said, all spiders are venomous, their are a very select few that are not, but for sake of argument, they are all venomous.
