What types of whales eat tiger sharks?
known as ‘offshores’ which have been observed with nicks and cuts on their bodies – a feature less common among ‘resident’ and ‘transient’ orcas. And while few attacks on sharks by orcas have been documented, it is commonly believed that offshore orcas hunt sharks for food. As there is an overlap between the known range of tiger sharks and orca, it could be plausible for an orca to eat a tiger shark.
