What types of trees are recommended for street tree planting?
The natural character of Upper Hunter Shire Council is an ecological, visual and recreational asset that helps make our city a desirable place to live. To promote and enhance the natural bush land character of the city, Council recommended the use of native species, particularly local native species, for street tree planting and public plantings in general.
