Most models have automatic transmissions using centrifugal force clutches. There is no shifting required. Increase gas and go, sometimes referred to as “twist and go”. Decrease gas to slow down. Back To Top The Nitro50 is only available with a manual transmission with a clutch and shifting required. The Baby Soft Tail is available in 4 speed automatic or 4 speed manual. Back To Top The Veneto, ST50/STA50, and the Nitro50 all have chain drives, the others have a belt drive.
