The Plug-N-Run Server Edition use low power processors that require minimum cooling and are therefore designed with a non-detachable passive heat sink that does not require a fan for normal operation. A low profile (8mm) fan heat sink (FHS) cooling unit is also offered for the Plug-N-Run Server Edition. The FHS mechanism includes a fan speed signal that can be used to verify fan operation.
