What types of technical services does BPA offer the Agriculture sector?
Two types of services are provided, depending upon whether a utility or an irrigation district. • For utilities, BPA offers three levels of pump testing. If a request for technical services is approved (sent thru the Technical Services Portal, www.bpa.gov/tsp), a contracted pump tester will gather the necessary data and work with BPA to make a determination if a viable project exists. Depending on the level of testing, BPA provides three different levels of cost sharing. • For irrigation districts that have a signed contract allowing BPA to work in their service territory, we offer audits, testing, and project development as needed.
