What types of software licenses can KeyServer manage?
KeyServer can be configured to effectively control single-user licenses, concurrent-use licenses, site licenses, group licenses, time-limited licenses and other license types. For desktop-based license management, there are functions in KeyServer that will lock each license to a specifically identified desktop computer (regardless of where the software is actually installed) and not allow the license to be run from any other computer. KeyServer can be configured to identify specifically which desktops will be allowed access to either server-installed or desktop-installed software. Once configured this way for desktop-based license management, no other desktops will be able to launch a software product even though they may have log-on access to a file server containing the software.
