What types of services will be sold under the COMSACOM Transponded Capacity Schedule 70 SIN?
The Government is seeking service providers owning/operating or reselling dedicated bandwidth on a commercial satellite in any commercially available COMSATCOM frequency band, including L-, S-, C-, X-, Ku-, extended Ku-, Ka-, UHF, etc. COMSATCOM Transponded Capacity refers to satellite bandwidth and power only, to include limited, not separately priced, engineering (e.g., development of link budgets, transmission plans) and training to use the bandwidth; management of the transponder; and necessary approvals required to use the transponded capacity, such as frequency clearances, and landing rights.
