What types of service does HealthQuest offer? We conduct independent, fair, evidence-based health assessments of people.
• ‘Employment Health Assessment’ (Pre-employment, Pre-Placement, or Permanency) – to advise whether their health suits them to a particular job; • ‘Workplace Exposure Assessment’ – These may be routinely-required periodic checks of a specific occupational hazard, or may be triggered by a concern that has arisen. The nature of the examination and tests is tailored to the circumstances. • ‘Sick Leave Validation’ – to give an independent second opinion on a period of claimed sick leave. This usually does not require an appointment: with the employee’s consent, the treating practitioner sends a confidential report directly to HealthQuest and the employer is simply advised whether the sick leave was appropriate, on the evidence provided.
