Please note that while TD AMERITRADE Investing Accounts can take in cash as well as securities, any ETF and mutual fund purchases associated with the Amerivest Advisory Service must be paid for with cash and Amerivest provides no advice on securities other than selected ETFs. Securities other than recommended ETFs and mutual funds are considered incompatible assets and must be transferred out or sold.
