What types of recliners are available?
Rocker recliners combine the ability to recline all the way back with the mobility of a traditional rocking chair. It is suggested to situate rocker recliners somewhere in the house with a good amount of space in order to get the full benefit from the chair mobility (try to keep the back of the chair a few feet away from the wall). Swivel recliners offer the relaxing reclining motion in addition to granting the ability to turn the chair around in a 360° motion. Swivel chairs are optimal for rooms with many points of interest including sun rooms and family rooms where other family members may be present at varying angles. Glider recliner chairs are very similar to rocker recliners. The glider recliner simulates a rocking motion, yet it is better molded to the base of the chair to better ensure safety of the occupants.
