What types of Quill Awards are there?
There are three types of Quill Awards. A Bronze Quill recognizes long-time service of any employee at a CCNA-member newspaper. Bronze Quill certificates may be presented to the recipient by the publisher. A Silver Quill or Gold Quill may be presented to an individual who is or has been an owner, publisher, editor or executive officer of a CCNA-member newspaper, in recognition of 25 or 50 years, respectively, of service to the community newspaper industry. Silver Quill certificates and Gold Quill plaques are presented at regional or national conventions.
