What types of projects does DF/Net work on?
DF/Net has specialized in offering DataFax data management services for clients with studies in uniquely challenging settings. This has included clinical trials in the field of HIV/AIDS research, tropical medicine, reproductive health, and other global health fields. DF/Net currently receives data from six continents and 20 countries, including: • United States of America • Dominican Republic • Chile • Peru • Ecuador • Brazil • Australia • South Africa • Botswana • Tanzania • Kenya • Rwanda • Uganda • Zambia • Finland • Sweden • Hungary • Belgium • India • Thailand Current projects include: • Partners in Prevention: Phase III Randomized Placebo-Controlled Trial of HSV-2 Suppression to Prevent HIV Transmission Among HIV-Discordant Couples (N=6,700). Funded by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation in collaboration with the University of Washington. • Protocol 300B: Phase III study using Nestorone(r)/Ethynylestradiol Vaginal Ring for contraception (N=1,000). Funded by the Population Counc
