Brighter Planet supports domestic, community-based renewable energy projects. Our portfolio includes a blend of many small-scale offset projects from communities across the county. Currently, we support two types of projects: • Wind turbines that reduce emissions by causing nearby fossil fuel power plants to turn down their operations. • Farm methane digesters that reduce emissions by burning methane, a potent greenhouse gas, and generate heat or electricity that avoids the need to burn fossil fuels.
