What types of posts is the North Western Deanery recruiting to in 2011?
Dependent on level and specialty, we have the following types of post available. We have also indicated the anticipated outcome of these posts: Academic Clinical Fellowships (ACFs): a training post that is divided between clinical (75% of time) and academic (25% of time) training. ACFs offer a route into a coupled training programme in specialties that may normally be uncoupled. Core Training (CT) post: a training post which will lead to completion of core training in that specialty. Specialty Training (ST) post: a specialty training post will lead to Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) or a Certificate of Eligibility for Specialist Registration – Combined Programme (CESR (CP)) .The certificate awarded will depend on the previous experience of the trainee appointed – please see here for more information..
