This technology breaks a PDF file into layers and applies different compression algorithims to each layer. The end result is a higher quality PDF at a significantly smaller ? potentially 80% or more, file size than without MRC applied to the PDF. Additionally, version 15 generates PDF/A tagged files. PDF/A is the new international standard for long-term electronic archiving.
