What types of passwords are easily cracked?
Passwords generated by a password generator (hackers have these too!); using words found in the dictionary (forward or backwards); passwords written down; names of anything (e.g., places, people, animals, etc.); information known about you (e.g., your birthday, social security number, telephone number, boyfriend’s name, etc.); all numbers or all letters especially repeating them over and over again; passwords shorter than 8 characters in length.
