What Types of Pallet jacks are there?
There are two types of pallet jacks that exist: manual pallet jacks and motorized pallet jacks. Manual Pallet jacks: Manual pallet jacks use only human energy to lift the load and move it. These lift the load by amplifying the force put on the handle of the pallet jack by working just like any other type of hand powered jack. As the user pumps up and down on the handle the wheels are lowered. This lifts the load off of the ground. Once the load is lifted it is sheer, brute force that is used to move the load. Motorized Pallet jacks: Motorized pallet jacks work in much the same way as a manual pallet jack except the human force part is taken out of the equation and replaced with mechanical power. These are usually powered by either electricity or some form of gasoline or diesel. On these pallet jacks the person operating the machine typically rides on the jack.
