What types of network actvities are blocked?
The Otterbein network and firewall will not allow the passage of files using peer-to-peer software, but allows legitimate sites. Servers and wireless networks outside of those established by the Department of Information Technology are not permitted. Resident students are asked to use the network resources responsibly as prescribed in the Acceptable Use Policy and adhere to Copyright Laws.
