What types of missions does Aviation fly?
The Aviation Unit uses its’ aircraft for search and rescue, traffic control, marijuana eradication and aerial photography. The Unit provides essential air support services to law enforcement agencies at all levels in the State, and works closely with other State Departments, the U.S. Secret Service and the F.B.I. The helicopters are used for Medevac programs throughout the state in conjunction with EMS personnel.
