What types of mission and ministry opportunities are available?

There are daily opportunities available to serve the community. These include (but are not limited to) a local food pantry, working with children in low-income housing, JAIL Ministry, hospital ministry, senior adult ministry, and Random Acts of Kindness. Students regularly meet special needs for agencies such as Habitat for Humanity, Ronald McDonald House, Peaceable Kingdom, Children’s Advocacy Center, Hope Pregnancy Center, and others. Reaching Out, UMHB’s campus-wide day of service, propels larger numbers of students into the surrounding community for a day of service. Reaching Out is held once each semester.
