What types of materials does American Marine Construction use?
Starting with the pilings, which are the foundation of the dock, we use pressure-treated southern yellow pine wood pilings. The framework of the dock is also constructed using pressure-treated southern yellow pine. The decking can be made of pressure-treated southern yellow pine or a variety of composite decking materials, which are designed to offer greater durability with less maintenance.
