What types of liners or bags are acceptable in the green cart?
Paper bags are acceptable in the green cart program. They have a cellulose liner to absorb moisture and can be purchased from many local retailers. Material can also be placed loose, in newspaper or other paper products (such as microwave popcorn bags or cereal boxes) to help absorb moisture and odours.
