What types of Jobs did only woman did and only men do in the olden days?
Depends what country you mean, how long ago you count as olden days and what class of women you are talking about. In Britain womens’ time was mostly taken up with housekeeping and child rearing, either in their own homes or working as servants. But in some areas they were also expected to do the spinning, care of poultry and dairy work, and to make many of the clothes for the family. Some would attend childbirth as midwives (but with no official nursing training) and would also lay out dead people. When the industrial Revolution started women were employed in the woollen and cotton mills, along with children, as their labour was cheaper than men’s doing the same work. Some middle class poorer women would be governesses for rich people. Men did the heavy farm work, labouring, all the trades and any professional jobs like doctors – in fact everything else.
