What types of jobs can you get with a business administration degree and a minor in management?

Unless you have prior management experience, you shouldn’t apply for a management position right off the bat. It’s going to be a really tough sell. Personally, I am a Management and Marketing major with an Economics minor, and that means little without real world experience. Stay away from anything that says “Entry level manager”, especially on sites like Craigs List, Monster, etc. These jobs are scams. Just take my word for it, there is no such thing as an entry level manager. The best advice I can give you, if you don’t have management experience to put on your resume, is to speak with your employment outreach program at your school if it has one. You might be able to enter in to an internship to gain some experience. Otherwise, use your education to grab a ground floor job with the clear expectation to move up. Once you can put “Manager” on your resume for at least 3 years or so, you can start applying to jobs specifically at the manager level.
