What types of items can be included in the portion of the budget that is limited to tuition?
The only items that can be included in the portion of the budget that is restricted to tuition supplements for class or workshop participants are the standard tuition and fees that the university charges for participants of that particular class. Items such as teacher stipends, substitute teacher fees, class/workshop materials are not valid charges for this part of the budget. If the proposing institution is not an academic institution then the PI should provide documentation of what that institution typically charges participants of its classes/workshops.
