The Sound Blaster Live! 5.1 X-Gamer and MP3+ have an 1/8th inch microphone input, 1/8th inch line input, two 1/8th inch analog line outputs (front and rear), 1/8th inch mini digital DIN that doubles as a third analog line output for sub and center channels and a 15 pin gameport that can be used as a MIDI connection. The Sound Blaster Live! 5.1 Platinum includes all of the inputs/outputs that the X-Gamer and MP3+ have on the sound card plus PCM S/PDIF input (RCA/coaxial jack), PCM S/PDIF output (RCA/coaxial jack), tos-link optical input, tos-link optical output, mini-MIDI In (Standard DIN), mini-MIDI Out (Standard DIN), RCA analog left and right inputs, microphone in (1/4″ jack with gain control), headphone out (1/4″ stereo jack with volume control) and line in (1/4″ stereo jack, shared with microphone in) included on the Live!
