The D.C. Jail is a correctional facility that houses pre-trial offenders, sentenced misdemeanants and convicted felons awaiting transfer to the Federal Bureau of Prisons. Only male offenders are housed at the DC Jail. Female offenders, males and juveniles being adjudicated as adults are housed at the CTF.
