What types of hazards or problems do crawlspaces present?
Hazardous mold can be found on almost every surface of a crawlspace. Mold can cause many problems including respiratory damage. Other common crawlspace hazards include water seepage (which ultimately causes mold growth), cracks in the concrete that can damage the entire foundation of a house, as well as rodent and insect problems. Also, if a sewer near your residence backs up, it can often back up into the crawlspace, and it can be extremely hard to effectively clean and eliminate such damage.
