What types of guitars and basses are available?
GP: We had been selling other importers guitars mainly around the Christmas season because that seemed to be what all of the music stores were asking for starting in September. Almost everyone here at SHS plays guitar and wanted to import our own line of instruments. We had several overseas contacts that manufactured some very nice guitars at unbelievable prices…acoustics and electrics, so we came up with the name “Indiana Guitar Company” and all of the instruments are named after a town in Indiana. MH: Tell us a bit about your “Morgan Monroe” line of acoustics, and the quality they represent? GP: The Morgan Monroe acoustic instruments are all made in Korea by very experienced guitar, banjo and mandolin manufacturers. Currently there are 42 models available in the line and these instruments retail from $399.00 up to $1500.00 and carry a Lifetime Warranty. We sell Morgan Monroe through a network of authorized dealers throughout the U.S. that have met our requirements to get the line.
