well that depends, you could use ethenol, but that lacks the power of gasoline, so it wouldn’t make it in the market as a pure blend so “polution” from gasoline will still get out. hydrogen is great except we can’t store it very well wich seriously raises costs, and hydrogen irinicaly is worse for the environment because it need massive electrical power stations to produce the ammount needed for a country which means you’d be burning alot more coal and gasoline. the most practical salution seams to be biodiesel since its only byproduct is carbon dioxide and its as harmless as cooking oil, biodegradable, produces equel or more power than regular diesel and has better viscocity so actually promotes longer engine life. best of all you can get biodiesel NOW for about $0.60 a gallon if you make it yourself with a kit. all you have to do is buy the kits which can cost a couple grand, and then go down to mcdonalds and ask for all the cooking oil they have since they have to pay to get rid of
