What types of files does Project5 use and what types of files can be uploaded?
• .PTN – P-SEQ pattern file • .MID – midi file that can be used in P-SEQ • .DP8 – DS864 sampler program file • .DS8 – DS864 sampler bank • .CYC – Cyclone file • .WAV – wave and groove clip files • .PROG – Psyn program file • .BANK – Psyn bank file • .P5D – Velocity bank file • .P5P – Project5 song file The only types of files that can be uploaded are: • .MP3 files – used as a “demo” file in the Songs section (so other users can hear your song before they download the whole zipped .P5P file) • .ZIP files – used to zip all the other file formats listed above. Zipping up your files ensures that we are using our server space efficiently and also ensures that other users spend the least amount of time downloading them.
