Rubber! Rubber really is the best thing out there for wet weather because it’s non-porous and cleans up in a snap. The next best thing would be silicone-impregnated leather, which is a fancy term for clogging the pores of the leather with a rubber-like product. Anything spray treated will need to be reapplied after a few wears.
