What types of events are appropriate for posting to the Torrance Event Calendar?
Generally, events that are open to the community and the public are appropriate for posting on the Calendar. Events must be sponsored by the City of Torrance or a Torrance-based, non-profit organization and must occur within the Torrance city limits. Selected private events (attendance by invitation only) may be posted at the discretion of the Calendar Administrator (Administrator). Private events that may be appropriate for inclusion are activities that promote important initiatives at the City – such as conferences or speakers with national prominence, OR larger scale events that may limit access to City facilities – such as a Torrance commencement.
