What types of duties are Housekeepers typically expected to perform?
Families have different needs and Housekeepers may have things they are and are not comfortable with. Generally, Housekeepers perform some or all of the following tasks: deep cleaning kitchen and bath, dusting, vacuuming, mopping, changing linens, window washing and sometimes laundry. Some Housekeepers are flexible and may be willing to perform other types of tasks including plant care, pet care, grocery shopping, organizational projects, and more. Make sure to discuss specific expectations when interviewing with a Family.
