What types of duties are Housekeepers expected to perform?
Although each Family’s individual needs may vary, typically, Housekeepers perform the following tasks: deep cleaning kitchen and bath, dusting, vacuuming, mopping, changing linens, window washing and sometimes laundry. Many Housekeepers are flexible and may be willing to perform other types of tasks including plant care, pet care, grocery shopping, organizational projects, and more. Make sure to discuss specific expectations when interviewing a Housekeeper.
