What types of diamond cuts are there?
There are many types of diamond cuts available. There are hundreds of styles and hundreds of names to choose from. However, all cuts can be placed within one of three basic cut collections. 1- Step cut- When incisions are made into the diamond that creates a series of steps on its surface. 2- Brilliant cut- When the diamond is cut at many small angles to maximize the faucets in the stone. 3- Mixed cut- Combines both step and brilliant cuts.
