What types of degrees are available at Dixie State College?
A major is an area of study that a student chooses to focus their studies in, such as accounting, elementary education, biology, mathematics etc. Dixie State College offers Associate degrees and several different Bachelor degrees. The college also offers various certificate programs and Associate of Applied Science degrees. Associate degrees – The Associate of Science and the Associate of Art degrees are designed to meet the qualifications of the first 2 years of a Baccalaureate Degree. Students who transfer from Dixie to a public four-year institution of higher education within the state of Utah should be automatically cleared of all general education requirements if they have earned an Associate degree.
