To achieve this, Infinity Accelerated uses compression to reduce the size of downloaded web page content without losing any data. As a result, it takes less time for the information to get from the internet to your computer. Technically, this is called lossless compression. It is applied to text, html, xml, JavaScript and style sheets. Image compression is applied to gif images, jpeg images and Flash content. Infinity Accelerated does NOT speed up file downloads (over FTP or file sharing programs), streaming audio/video and HTTPS (secure web sites).
