Generally, Egypt is a hot country where light colored, loose fitting clothing is recommended.However,Egypt does get cold at night and during the winter.Nighttime temperatures can drop to a cool (68 F/19 C) during the summer and cold (47 F/8 C) during the winter. In the winter clothing you can easily layer is best. Packing a light to medium coat will keep you warm when temperatures drop.
