The IHS Meaningful Use Team is currently reviewing the EHR certification and MU requirements and determining what changes need to be made to the RPMS EHR so that it can be certified and achieve MU. As changes are identified, they are sent to the programming teams to make the changes. For example, new clinical quality measures will be developed and added to the Clinical Reporting System (CRS). The IHS expects all of the changes will be made and the RPMS EHR will be certified and deployed nationally by January 1, 2011.
