Almost all types of carpet can be deep cleaned with the BISSELL Deep Cleaners. For best results check with your carpet manufacturer’s deep cleaning suggestions. For your upholstery, please check the care instructions. If the care instructions do not recommend using any water to clean, do NOT use the BISSELL Deep Cleaners or BISSELL cleaning formulas. • How do I remove the static from the carpet? Mix 1 part liquid fabric softener with 5 parts water, mist the carpet lightly with a spray bottle. Then, let it dry. You may want to repeat every couple months. You may find a humidifier will help eliminate the static electricity.
