What types of cards can the Personal Access Reader support?

0

The Personal Access Reader supports asynchronous, T=0, T=1 smart cards. Generally speaking, T=0 and T=1 is the protocol used by smart cards for communications. When using a T=1 smart card, the data is automatically broken down in sizes less than the 133-byte data stream supported by Personal Access Reader. When using a T=0 smart card, the smart card application must break down the data to less than 133-byte sizes. Synchronous or memory cards are not supported.
