What types of bone fractures are there?

0

There are many different types. Complex fractures occur in long bones and like the name suggests, causes fractures across the bone that are not uniform and are difficult to heal. Stress fractures are like really bad shin splints, caused by repeated stress or strain, like constant heavy running. Hairline fractures are minor and occur after a bang or a fall, they are usually healed pretty quickly. Compression fractures are where two or more bones are basically squashed together, usually after an RTA or something heavy falling on someone. Avulsion fractures are where the muscle or ligament attached to the bone actually causes the fracture, or there is a depressed fracture where one part is pushed in from the rest of the bone. There are loads more, hope this helps.
