The City of Albany accepts cash bonds, bonding company bonds or property bonds. The City Treasurers Office is the place to go for posting bond during normal business hours, Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., excluding holidays. After hours during weekends and holidays, bonds are accepted at the Albany Police Department Main Desk, located at 201 W. Oglethorpe Blvd.. Information on the bonding companies in the City of Albany can be found in the local telephone directory. Telephone inquiries during the normal business day should be made to the treasurers Office at (229) 431-2118 or the Municipal Court at (229) 431-2865. Inquiries can be made after hours and on weekends and holidays to the Albany Police Department Main Police Desk at (229) 431-2100.
