What types of annual events does the Oakland County Bar Association provide?
The Oakland County Bar Association hosts four major events a year. They are the Golf Outing in July, the Holiday Gala in December, the Race Judicata in May and the Annual Meeting in June. Our active committees coordinate smaller events. • When is the renewal period for OCBA bar dues? The fiscal year is from July 1 through June 30. • Is Continuing Legal Education (CLE) offered and is it mandatory in the State of Michigan? Continuing Legal Education is not mandatory in the State of Michigan. Credits are mandatory, however, for those attorneys who accept criminal, probate, and juvenile appointments at the 6th Circuit Court. The Oakland County Bar Association is an accredited provider of this program and offers many classes throughout the year. They are held in the CLE Room at the bar offices.
